Abstract
In a complex and dynamic world, organizations, especially in sensitive and strategic industries, need to make decisions based on accurate information and long-term strategies. Simulating strategic scenarios, as an efficient tool in analyzing and predicting future developments, plays an important role in designing resilient and adaptive strategies. This research examines the importance and application of simulating strategic scenarios in complex environments and in this regard presents a case study of the oil and gas industry. The oil and gas industry, as one of the vital industries, especially in resource-rich countries, is always facing numerous challenges, including economic, political, and technological changes. The aim of this research is to present an applied model for simulating strategic scenarios in this industry, in order to help managers and decision-makers make better decisions using advanced data analysis and simulation tools. The findings of this study show that scenario simulation can effectively reduce uncertainties and risks in strategic processes and help organizations to deal with upcoming changes in a more optimal way.
