English

In the age of digital technologies and artificial intelligence, Educational Organizations leaders should have digital leadership competencies and AI capabilities. Therefore, the present study aimed to identify the digital leadership competencies based on artificial intelligence in educational organizations. The research adopted a qualitative approach and was conducted using meta-synthesis. The research population and sampling were based on studies conducted between 2020 and 2024 in English and 1399 to 1403 in Persian. In total, 30 articles were selected for final analysis. The content validity of the codes and categories was determined by experts in the field of educational management, and the reliability was ensured by selecting and synthesizing data with the help of analysts in the field. The results indicated that digital leaders in educational organizations must possess competencies in three aspects: individual (technology literacy, teamwork, innovative thinking, open-mindedness, leadership and management skills), pedagogical and educational (learner-centered, teacher-centered, enhancing education), and organizational (digital leadership, AI skills, digital leadership assessment, ethics, and responsibility). "In conclusion, the findings of this study indicate that identifying and strengthening AI-driven digital leadership competencies in educational organizations is not only a necessary response to the rapid technological advancements and environmental changes, but also a key factor in enhancing the quality of education, improving decision-making processes, effectively managing data, and bridging existing gaps within educational systems.".
