From the perspective of the resource-based framework, organizational decision makers should adopt and implement strategies that can secure a sustainable competitive advantage for the organization in order to improve performance. The aim of this research is to investigate the impact of competition strategies on the performance of companies with the role of moderating competition intensity, market dynamics and technological turbulence. The research method is of an applied type based on the purpose and is descriptive-causal in nature. The statistical population of this research included all managers of Iranian insurance agencies in Yazd province, which numbered 200 people. From these, a sample of 127 people was selected and examined using a simple random method based on the Morgan table. The data collection tool was the standard questionnaire of Crick et al. (2024), whose validity was confirmed by elites and experts and its reliability by calculating the Cronbach's alpha coefficient. In this study, based on the literature and conceptual model, 4 hypotheses were presented and descriptive statistics using SPSS software and inferential statistics using PLS software were used to analyze the data. The results showed that managers can take a firm step towards better agency performance by identifying and implementing effective competitive strategies. The intensity of competition as a key factor affects the impact of competitive strategies on the success of insurance agencies, and in addition, market dynamics and technological changes and innovations as moderating factors can affect the relationship between competitive strategies and company performance.
